Redstone—A Rich and Golden History

Redstone is the site of the biggest gold strike in Canadian history and there are mining trails throughout the property from that era. The Teck Cominco Metals company built a nine hole course in 1927 and also built the original clubhouse—still in use today. The course was the last nine hole course to host the Canadian Open Championship.

Rossland Property Investments Ltd. successfully purchased 554.5 acres of land from Teck Cominco in June, 2004. This purchase included the historic Rossland Golf course with surrounding lands and marked the start of Redstone Resort (a.k.a. Redstone at Rossland)
